Ethiopian runners complete Berlin Marathon double

Two Ethiopian athletes made history on Sunday by completing a double victory at the Berlin Marathon.

Eliud Kipchoge and Jemima Sumgong stunned the crowd as they crossed the finish line in first place in the men’s and women’s races respectively.

Kipchoge, known for his speed and endurance, set a new course record in the men’s race with a time of 2 hours, 4 minutes, and 1 second.

Meanwhile, Sumgong demonstrated her strength and determination by winning the women’s race in a time of 2 hours, 22 minutes, and 56 seconds.
